Haiti Earthquake.

Saturday, August 14, 2021, once again, a natural disaster hit Haiti. The 7.2-magnitude earthquake has been responsible for more than 2,000 deaths and has leftover hundreds of people injured and homeless.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the deadliest natural disaster of the 21st century was a 7.0-magnitude earthquake in Haiti in 2010 that killed an estimated 316,000 people and caused $13.2 billion in damage.

Thankfully, there are so many ways people can help earthquake victims. Get Up Stand Up For Haiti is begging you to join the good cause with the fundraising effort to speed up recovery and rebuild the three specific departments, such as Nippes, South, and Grand-Anse, mostly affected by the earthquake.
